Martin McIntosh Posted July 23, 2021 Share Posted July 23, 2021 I have now converted most of my i/c models to LiFe because of the huge advantages over other types. I recently tried to get my chargers to put them on storage but they refused, probably because the voltage varies so little. No need anyway since even stored at full charge for a year or more they will only take something like 20 mA/hr and retain full capacity. MattyB Posted July 23, 2021 Share Posted July 23, 2021 The can shaped cells I have never had any issues with irrelevant of storage voltage, but the cheap pouch ones from HK sold as RX packs have (for me) puffed when stored at full charge for >6 months.
