Steve Goodwin
Sorry if this has been answered before, but... It appears that most plans provide only one wing drawn. What method should I use to build the other wing half?
Gary Binnie
Hi Steve, You could have the plan scanned and printed in reverse at your local printers or do what I do and Sellotape it to the living room window (printed side out) and use a ruler to draw the main lines on the back side (spar and leading/trailing edge positions and ribs). David Davis
Hi Steve, You can rub paraffin or white spirit on the other side of the plan and a mirror image will show up. However, the image will start to disappear after a couple of days. I've heard that cooking oil does the same an gives a more permanent inpression. Alternatively you could take the plan down to Staples or to a shop which prints plans for architects and ask them to print a mirror image. Some claim that the plan becomes distorted by the printing process but I've never had any trouble.
