Searching threads and topics

Is there any way to search a particular Thread for a word or phrase?

I was thinking about the 1/4 Scale Precedent Stampe build thread. I began it 9 years ago, it runs to 130 pages and has nearly 3500 comments. It a great source of hints and tips. This would help with other long running threads

Having a search facility would make finding problems covered and solutions easier to find.......just a thought. Or is there another way around it

I think Cymaz wants to search for, say, cabane, within that thread ?

That’s what I was trying to get at. ?

If someone typed in CG, then the word would pop up showing the page or comment.

I wish I knew how to take a screenshot on my Surface....

In the Forums section:

1. Open the thread you are interested in

2. In the search bar at the top right, enter your search criteria

3. In the SEARCH IN area (this will appear as a menu under the search bar), select This Topic

4. Click/press the magnifying glass at end of search bar.

This works on my Windows PC and tablet. Doesn't work like this on an Android phone - can't see how to do it I'm afraid.

on my iPad

  • click the home home button, a grey box appears ( notice, custom, Siri, device, control centre, home)
  • click on device
  • click on more
  • Screenshot is in the top right corner
  • tap on that and a picture is taken....and without the grey box showing.
