James Middleton
I use a(n) FrSky DJT module and a D8R-11 Rx. Is it "safe" to continue running with the (original) 35MHz Tx-antenna attached to the Tx? I prefer the..."feel/balance" of the Tx with the long aerial in-place! (I don't use a cradle). Are there any (technical) reasons why this might be,..."risky"? Just wondering,...any comments? James
Martin Dance 1
I don't think there is any reason why the extended Tx antenna would cause problems with the 2.4Ghz signal. A more likely problem if you fly on a club site will be people moaning about the lack of a frequency pennant o lack of peg on the peg board?
Alan Hilton
If the frsky 2.4 module is in place no 35 meg rf will be transmitted so no problem
john stones 1 - Moderator
I fitted the strap doodah to mine for the same reason, more holes on one, so you can balance better.

Wookman
I use a 9X2 with a FrSky module with the 35Mhz aerial extended. Never been a problem.
