The final confirmation that everything that is now permanently built in actually still works!

From this 1955 'glamour' photo you can see why the Hunter's Sabrinas were so named.SabrinaActual.thumb.jpeg.286dde0cac051d884a4d152437f0a398.jpeg

You do have to do the research on your planes. Don't you??

That's not exactly a plane view!

With some very light sanding and a second coat of black followed by some acrylic lacquer spray and stick on decals it now looks like this.

At 587 g (20.7 oz) with an 1800 mAh 3s it weighs exactly the same as the earlier Prototype Hunter. It also has the benefit of a slightly more powerful 50 mm EDF.

The most obvious scale error is the roundels should have white borders!

Took the opportunity to fly the Hunter F6 on one of the really calm days this month.

Very nearly wrecked it! ?

It needed nearly full left aileron trim so the hand launch was to put it mildly a bit dicey. Just as well it has a fair excess of thrust.

Once sorted out it flew well enough. Like my other XPS EDFs it glides nicely and slowly so it handled the rough grass no problem.

Nest time I will remember to switch the gyro on as well!

It will need a bit of 'heat massage' on that left wing.
