HKing Pop Ups

Is there any way to stop those annoying popups on the HKing site that advise you what other people are ordering?

click the X in the top right corner of the popup - that stops them (for that session at least).

Try installing an add blocker  App. Free on line but you may have to switch it off to allow some apps to work. 

How did we ever live our lives without an appropriate app ?

My otherwise excellent ad blocker doesn't block those HK popups

Yes I find them very annoying too, they seem to pop up right where I am looking at the time and I don't give a fig for what someone else is ordering in Timbuktu, Toronto or anywhere else for that matter! Mind you having only brought once in the last two years from HK I am not looking very often.

Do have an add blocker on my PC but it does not stop those pop-ups.

 

Strange to think why HK would want you to see what other people are buying, maybe something to do with their culture in the far east to ensure you buy the same just to keep up with them.

For the most time I ignore those pop ups until one day a pop up displayed something I was after for a While as they were constantly out of stock.

Seeing someone in the USA had just bought one I clicked on it to see if they were back in stock but they were not. 

 

What were they I hear you ask .......... Auto G blades .

Yep they have not been in Stock for years. So how did Bill for the USA buy one ?

MotionRC have been doing on their website at least since they opened their EU warehouse - HK seem to have copied it off them.

 

I presume it's so you see products that you wouldn't otherwise have seen in your normal browsing - like supermarkets changing the aisle layouts around -  but that doesn't make it any less annoying.
