Corker - a modern vintage style model

Recommended Posts

Outerzone has thousands of plans to download.   This one caught my eye as a decent size at 60 inch span and a really well drawn plan.   Seems to be a modern plan in the old hand drawn style with handwritten comments- great!    Much nicer than CAD style all looking the same.

Corker is said to fly really well so it may be worthy of consideration for your winter build.    I am not sure it's my type of model but it's worth studying the plan to see the details.    The extreme downthrust looks different but it may be because of the really short nose.   Using wing bolts and dowel is not vintage but much nicer in practice.   The dowel elevator joiner with cocktail stick reinforcement seems a good idea.   Probably other interesting details if one studies the plan closely.

It was published by RCModelWorld June 2010 .....has anyone here built it?
