Andy J
Have a 1050KV, 42mm diam motor which is going to be used in conjunction with a 60A esc. Any guess what prop size I should start with. Long time since I played with electric motors so all previous knowledge has been forgotten.
Shaun Walsh
Need to know the motor model, number of battery cells, model weight.
Shaun Walsh
Also, what level of performance you want.
Allan Bennett
As Shaun has said, full details are needed. Is it this one?
Andy J
Motor is to be used in a Panther autogyro which I have yet to complete, so weight and performance requirements are unknown. Motor I assume came from HK is as pictured in this post. Will do a further measurement of its length tomorrow to see if anybody can identify it. Shaun Walsh
Difficult to say without knowing how many amps the motor can take without generating the magic smoke, but a 12x4 or 11x6 should give enough thrust drawing 30 to 35 amps on a 3S battery.
