Cliff 1959
I'm building the DW big Dr1 and I notice the fuselage formers behind the lower wing are slightly concave on the bottom, whilst I like the appearance is it correct compared to the full size? Cliff 1959
Forget to say why ... I want to add a second crossmember which would be straight if I hadn't have noticed.
Simon Chaddock
Cliff 1958 The full size DR1 had a fuselage constructed from welded steel tube. Every panel was wire cross braced so the cross tubes were only in compression. There would be a distinct structural disadvantage if the cross tube was anything but straight.
