Tosh McCaber
Being a bit of a dinosaur in the RC models game, I was brought up with all the standard wooden wing spars- variants ranging from 1/8"x1/4" top and bottom, with1/8" balsa web for lighter/medium models, and ranging upward proportionally from there. However, carbon fibre is now available- very much lighter! I wonder if anyone with experience with carbon fibre would be able to input their experience to let me (and my friends!) get an idea of the cross sections, profiles and techniques that they use in models ranging again from small to large?
