001
I am looking for a 24 mm diameter (Max.) brushless electric motor to fit inside the very slim moulded nose of a lightweight 55" Wingspan glider. It needs to have a kv of around 1200. There are plenty of outrunner motors around at 28 or 29 mm dia. Inrunners all seem to be around 3500 kv. And I do not want a gearbox.I have been looking at the usual suppliers and found one that would fit, but at £25 it is too much to pay for something that will be used occasionally for perhaps 20 seconds per flight. I was thinking of paying more like £ 8! Any constructive observations!?
