Shaunie
Only iPhone5 I'm afraid. Just a scene I liked at Pevensey Bay this summer. Shaunie.

Phil Green
These were weird comb-like clouds, I've never seen anything like it. Like a thousand cotton-wool balls with long, parallel tails. There were many of these combs all over the sky: This was a lovely sunset but the colours never come out right for me! and this one was like a giant hand that descended over maybe 5 minutes: Edited By Phil Green on 02/12/2013 18:58:

David Gilder
Sat at home on Saturday and saw quite a red reflection in the houses opposite. I grabbed my camera and went to the upstairs back window and was amazed with the sight that awaited me.. I have not seen a sunset like this for a LONG time! Wish we had more like this!! Phil Green
These were stunning skies, unfortunately it was pitch black and I didnt have a camera with me, only a phone so the quality is poor. But you get the idea: You had to be there to get the full effect ! Cheers Phil

David Ashby - Moderator
Some of the ominous clouds above the house at 9pm yesterday before one of the best light shows we've had in years.
Stevo
That last picture is exactly what it was like around 9PM yesterday evening in the Dartford area. Spooky. Oh and BTW you can clearly make it as a photographer, and you won't need to charge me for the Ju88. Tony Read 2
I saw one of those 'rainbow' or 'iridescent' clouds yesterday evening at about 6.00pm. The sun was low in the west and the cloud was also fairly low down. It was lit up like a jewel in the sky. Amazing and beautiful. Shame I did not have a camera to hand. Tony Read 2
Are they a rare occurrence? I have never seen one before in my life, so they obviously are to me. Love the rainbow smilie John - missed that one!

Erfolg
Mr Ashby, the last time I saw clouds like that was just before the marsh mellow man wreaked havoc in New York.

David Ashby - Moderator
Not clouds, but an unusual sky at the slope today. The jet trail against the sun's halo effect.
Martin Harris - Moderator
I thought these were rather unusual. The picture doesn't really capture them as in real life - they were pretty striking.
