Michael Oliver
I am thinking about buying a Huey Helicopter and the only one I seem to be able to find in the 30/50 size is the Hirobo model.Has anyone got any views on this model and any other possible alternatives.many thanks, Michael. Joe Richardson 1
Hi Mike The Hirobo Huey is basically a Shuttle with a body and as such has very good flying characteristics especially for the 'average' flyer. It looks OK and like most things is as scale as you want to make it. With an OS 32 it goes more than scale like and is quite a robust heli. It is a 'nice' flyer like all the Hirobo 30 size helicopters seem to be. There isn't much else Heuy like unless you are into 'Vario' size scale. I have one of these but it isn't finished so I cannot make comment at the moment. Regards Joe
David Sack
Does anyone know why the Hirobo and Eflite Hueys disappeared ? They were affordable and fun and I would like to get hold of one !
Peter Christy
Hirobo stuff is still imported and available through Midland Helicopters: **LINK** For odd spares, you can try the importer: **LINK** They also import a range of Funkey scale fuselages to fit Hirobo (and others). Not sure about a Huey, but they do quite a range (JetRanger, Agusta, etc) -- Pete
