I always use the very thin type so that it "wicks" in by capillary action...I've only seen it in bottles but you may have a different source/terminology? Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 hinges---after a lifetime of modelling i made my first silicone hinge two weeks ago--after watching one of my friends glider pull high G stuff with them in it---i decided to give it a go......dead easy-no fiddling on with mylar/cyno ect and really strong(amazed) and no gap.............. ken anderson...... Bob Cotsford Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 I used Evo-stick hinges on my MiniBongo, twelve months on they're still holding together despite some rough treatment.Cyano tubes - sounds like Eric is off to Poundsavers, I really rate their cyano, the stuff in tubes seems a little thicker than their bottles, either way £1 for 10 2gm tubes or 5(?) 10g bottles is good value. andy watson Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 Flexible hinges- cyano. Robart hinges- epoxy. I tend to use Robarts for almost everything now.
