Hi Mike , I have the 1100w version (same size different make) in a bullet with 10" prop on 4s and smaller KVA in an addiction X with 3s using i think a 13" prop.cant remember exactly the figures. I've got them at home if needed.

I think we need to sort the battery voltage problem out first.

But I'm a long long way off an expert.

Good point Simon. Too small a pack could well explain the voltage drop.

Hi Mike. Something is wrong there. I use the same size motor and get close to 900w with 3s. The battery voltage is low and this could be the answer. Was the pack fully charged at the start of the test?
Hope this starts to get an answer.

Hi Richard and welcome, looking forward to meeting you.

Unfortunately I can't make Sunday's event due to being on holiday but looking forward to my home clubs event on the 16th at Retford.

Should be good if past events are anything to go by and the good weather has been effected, not that that has stopped us in the past!

Always a difficult call pal but with the best intentions.

I can't make basingbourn so my next event will be Retford. Roll on July.

To save anyone an in necessary trip this event has sadly had to be postponed due to the forecast of bad weather.

A revised date will hopefully be announced shortly.

Hi Nigel. Technique is to get the surface preped in the usual way then coat with thinned down pva, lay the paper then wet it through with the pva, remove as many wrinkles as possible and let it dry. Hopefully all the wrinkles have disappeared and it's stuck.

Now prime and spray.

I don't know compared to tissue and dope because it's so long since I did any but compared to film it's :-

More fiddly

Takes longer

Probably more expensive in the long run.

So why did I do it? Just fancied doing something different.

Would I do it again? Probably not.

Thanks Martyn. A proper engine? Lol. Oh you mean that oily noisy thingy. Lol
