Thread: Laser Engines - Technical questions
Caution - Fairy Power Spray turned the alloy on either an ASP or SC 2* very dark grey when I tried it several years ago. Now what I can't recall is how long I left it on It did clean the engine but chemically changed the colour permanently.

Our secretary received a training request on the 15th Dec for her husband who had flown years ago and she wanted to get him back flying for his birthday next year - different name Karen Glynn.
Thread: Andy Symons PR on Countryfile
John you may need to register with BBC iplayer to view?
at 44.10 in
Very nice piece of PR by Jim, Andy and all involved. I thought the inclusion of the long history and how to get involved was a nice touch.
Thread: CAA registration take-up?
Is that registrations or tests?
Only I took the CAA test and both BMFA versions just to see what was required without completing, as being our club chairman I may need to offer advice to fellow members without an achievement pass.

Another big for the 7 channel Redcon - several all proving ultra rock solid. Also have Lemon 6,7 & 10, all diversity and all excellent. However you might want to check but I don't think the stabilized 7 has a failsafe option ?
Thread: Need new Dehumidifier
We have a Comet (gives you some idea of how old) DH10, 10l per day that's just come out of retirement after re-plastering several rooms - works brilliantly still. Downside 250w per hour running. As Cuban mentioned sort source if possible.
Not quite the same (newer model) but on sale at Machine Mart. Clarke DH10 sale
Thread: F86 speed brake
Missed the edit window
Na sorry the above suggestion would't work.
What about the pivot base being angled in away from the skin with the brake mounted at slight twisted angle so it sat flush with the fuz when shut, but would pivot out and down when extended?
Edited By Ace on 25/10/2019 13:43:46
No engineer, however if say he pivot point in the fus was vertical and the both arms are the same length, but the top arm had a slight dogleg into the fus. Then when the airbrake was opened/rotated the top arm would travel further causing a slight droop? only a thought.
