Thread: BMFA Website down...?
20/09/2018 15:23:09

Andy, sorry rebooted both router and PC then tried BMFA from google - same no access "bmfa sent an invalid response"

20/09/2018 15:05:27

Tried again and still unable to access.

Tried Denis's link and got 1&1 web hosting stating bmfa.org is registered otherwise it would show page not found.

Full address of link - http://www.bmfa.org/Home/Minutes-Agenda?Command=Core_Download&EntryId=2694 but won't connect.

Andy,

No padlock before address

Tried a link from google search but address dosen't show the green padlock either.

All other websites tried work find with a green padlock - it just appears to be the bmfa.org.

Thanks Denis I am aware of the planed upgrade due and would have expected any issues after the event not before, unless they are already messing about in advance on the live system.

Just trying to access the normal website not anything requiring a login. Can get the power nationals and northern area websites, just seems to be anything starting https://bmfa.org crying

20/09/2018 11:21:11

I still can't access the main BMFA website Cleared my history and cache and cut and pasted Ikura's link. (same as I have used/trying) but still receive the same reply. crying

PC - Vista - Chrome - via Sky broardband

James, No I live a little south on the West/ North Yorkshire border but know the area well.

One things for sure, there are so many different types/styles/building materials, powered and non powered, I grantee you will love the journey of discovery smiley

Welcome James, the forum is an excellent starting point full of knowledgeable helpful people thumbs up

A couple of good clubs not far from Thornaby and if you haven't looked already the BMFA website has a club finder **LINK**

Like Erfolg, took me a couple of hours as I also read and used the BMFA specimen responses as a guide, which I have to say I though was time well spent - well done BMFA.

Recreational model flyers the target - I don't think so, we are just collateral damage in a ever growing sector where the speed of technology development has created issues and opportunities requiring regulation.

Done my bit but doubt more than 1 or 2 others in my club will sad
