Ditto, I would like a set of plans... I think a set of retracts would look good in the plane.

Thanks for the drawings, still working on trying to get them open for printing. I can use a viewer to look at them.

Hi All,

First like to say I like your logo !

Yes your right (CPA) Classic PAttern Association-Is more relaxed than SPA - Rule #1 is Must Have Fun!

Really we are a relaxed group with simple rules as we follow the AMA - Academy of Model Aeronautics rule book from the year of the pattern we are flying. That way we do not need to make up patterns. the airplanes are stock as no modifications to very little, but people are not changing airfoils etc. to get a edge. We can run pipes and retracts if wanted.

There is no date cut off - but rather the planes used in the day of NON-Turnaround. and IC and electrics are allowed as they where in the rule book.

We have around 70 members and in the USA & Canada.

One I figure out the photo posting i upload some pictures.

My name is Scott and I'm one of several people promoting the old style of pattern flying ( non-turnaround) flying planes form the 1970-1990 with pipes and retracts. As the turnaround pattern has become a full time job of practice many are finding the one pass, one maneuver is more fun and less $$$.

In 2012 we had 18 classic pattern events coast to coast.

we have a website as well as a forum site dedicated to classic pattern.

I hope all get a chance to check out our sites as I will be looking around here.

I'm Scott and am one of the people involved in promoting ClassiC Pattern here in the States. Many don't have the time to keep practicing (FAI Style) of flying so alot of the guys are breaking out the old piped , retracted equiped planesand competing in contest Coast to Coast. In 2012 we had 18 events and alot of good times with the old planes and patterns ( non-turnaround) one pass , one maneuver.

We have a website and we even have a forum site

I hope you check us out and Iwill enjoy looking around your site and chatting with some of you.
