Just to prove "stevo" that I Have started it.

But what with delivering the Christmas post everyday I'm going to be very busy/tired.

So its a slow build.

Laser 80 or 150? up front.

Not decided on colour scheme yet, but liking the greyish/white one.

Thread: Am I jinxed?
04/11/2014 20:53:34

I wondered why it had gone quite,......just to cheer you up i've started the tail feathers of the Albatross C111 that knocks your Be2c into a spiral spin and a forced landing in no mans land, with a long muddy walk back home.wink

Cheers (get well soon)

Daves42 and Martin Whybrow, where do you fly?

Im with KMFC and flew one flight only on Saturday afternoon, far too windy, although it looked lovely when I arrived at the site.

Thread: Balsa USA kits.
26/10/2014 09:52:36

So would it be easy? And a lot cheaper to buy these direct from Balsa USA or rely on one UK importer.

Pound to the dollar these look good value but how long would you have to wait? And Postal/Vat charges are a lottery?

I'm hovering over the buy button on at least 3 kits at Pegasus website.........just cant justify the prices.

Looks Fantastic in the flesh too, I saw this today at Old Warden, great to meet and chat to Jez too.

I felt like a school kid meeting a real life hero today. I only wish I had the skills to match.

Thread: Thread identification Chart?
30/08/2014 18:31:07

great thanks chaps, love the last one Mark, looks like my models all over!!

30/08/2014 16:53:13

Can anyone point me in the direction of a chart that will show me Bolt sizes, ie 5BA 4BA and there thread sizes in mm etc.

Its annoying if you grab a bolt out of your spares box, and you cant easily say "Ah yes that's a 4BA that will do......or I need a 20mm 5BA bolt for that etc."

Any help gratefully received.
