Thread: yak 54 30cc CG
12/11/2014 11:20:01

I've been looking at the cg for this yak 54 30cc , its states in the manual 174mm from trailing edge , which puts the cg at 25mm in FRONT of the wing tube , to obtain the correct balance the model requires 23oz of lewd up front !!

My sbach 30cc balances round about the centre of the wingtube , and I thought the yak would be similar , 23oz is rediculous , I also have my two flight packs as far forward as I cam get them .

Has anyone else got one of these , or can anyone shed a bit light on the cg for this model

Thread: 91 inch j3 cub
09/11/2014 17:20:06

91inch j3 cub , with all servos and 26cc engine , also has a home made dropper so you can drop parachutes , sweets ect. Fitted with 5 inch blow up wheels so you can land in the rough .

Great model in excellent condition , its just not my cup of tea , i fly sbachs yaks and caps , so i would like to swap for something along those lines , including mx2 or edge .

Big thumbs up to electric wingman , their delivery service is second to none , you can even track your parcel on a map from a link provided in the email , showing where the courier is in relation to where you live , what number drop he's on , and how long he is expected to be .

Thread: analogue and digital frame rate
02/11/2014 19:05:47

While I was at the field my mate was watching me going through some pre flight checks , and he commented on how slow the elevator seemed to be moving (hs 645mg x 2 ) , he asked if they were digital or analogue servos ,I told him analogue , he said if they all had been digital I could swap to 11ms on my tx ,

I tried the 11ms and the speed of the elevator servos did seem to be quicker , but as I stated earlier i wasnt sure if any damage would be done , so I put it back to 22ms , could have all been in my head , but the others watching said they looked to be moving quicker .
