As David says the rods look a little thin and flexible
On on of my models I moved the main undercarriage forward and this allowed the model to take off without too much elevator
Your mains look a bit too far back, can you try and move them forward?
Its best to video any test flights it makes it easier to see what the problem might be
I rely on video as I can never remember enough detail after the flight
Arthur can you post some pictures of your model and the head
-1.5 pitch may be to much you will get good spin up but low lift
I fly the Mk1 Gyrone it has zero on the blades but needs the prerotator to get the head up to flying speed

Nice build Martin
Test flew the new three blade plate and the modified two blade plate
The Wot 4 had been trimmed for a different head and the takeoff was a wee bit out of trim
They both handled well and I did not find any problems
I do like the sound from the two blade setup
Assembled the two blade version with an extra 2mm layer on the bottom to stop any down flex on heavy landings
Hi Guys got some parts cut today for the new three blade plate and some parts for the two blade setup
We made a mistake with three holes but was easily fixed when I came to build up the head
I will post info and video when I get a chance to test fly the new plate
Can you spot the mistake?

Hi guys can you send me any PDF files, or files from the program you are using to draw the new plates and I will get my mate to cut me some test pieces and have a go with them
These are the parts I make to keep the standard head serviced after some abuse
Looking good Steve, a good maiden well done
Enjoy the three blades for a while then try the two
Steve awfa brae
Every thing Rich said and watch for the left roll on takeoff the blades look like they are not up to speed but they are
