The camera is a Black Fin 720 VR camera, retail is about $280 ( Aust Dollars) got it cheap off ebay.
A cheap vr camera from ebay fitted to the wing makes an interesting flight video, being able to look around during the video gives a whole new perspective of your flight. Hope it works might have to open the youtube app to watch.

He doesnt fly he has not had the elevate upgrade, he does play some mean music though.

I use wheel balancing weights from the local tyre shop (the ones that fit and balance the tyres)

Just a thought, i recently lost a plane in a similar way, take off as usual then suddenly rolled to the left. A friend watching said i stalled it (had that plane for about 18 months so i thought that unlikely). On inspection i found that all servos but the elevator servo worked correctly, the elevator would quickly go to full throw up (radio on low rates) then slowly return to centre in jittering steps.
Yes the stripes are printed, there is paint on the fuselage fillets where the first white stripe meets the fuselage
Flies quite well, i used the eco setup recommended in the instructions, i used a 4s 2200 hobbyking battery which balanced it perfectly on the cog points printed on the wings
I just used pla from hobbyking on all the planes i have printed. I just received my mk3 prusa and made the spitfire that’s included with the drivers package, i made a couple of changes to some gcodes to allow printing of invasion stripes, I will put some photos up shortly

Dont be worried to much about adding doublers mine is just held together with zap-a-gap medium and a spray of activator. Had about a dozen flights so far with no signs of joints failing.
With the one i printed i adjusted the length of the cf tube to get the balance right. Using close to the recommeded equipment (motor has higher kv rating) overall length is 1.07m, the exposed lenght of the cf tube is 32cm. Its surprising how well this flies, its quite fast (will go vertical without a problem) and glides better than expected. I got a 15min flight and landed with about 40% capacity remaining (1500mah turnigy battery) no heat from either the battery or speedy.

Thanks for the link, i see some files will be free. There were some on thingiverse for a while i was hoping someone downloaded them before they were removed.
Just wondering if any one got a copy of the stl files of radial engines that Dag Atwood had up on thingiverse. Just as i was all setup to download and print them they were removed.

Forgot the hinges, wheel bolts and prop were not printed

The files were from 3dlabprints material pla, weight is 2.1kg ( spot on weight as per the instructions ). Missed a video for the maiden flight will try to get some for the second. Took about 70-80 hours to print (could have been longer i didn’t take to much notice of the time). Max speed was 26mm/sec for my printer (geeetech i3 pro c - built from kit) slower speeds gave the best print. Took a few bits of trial and error to get the slicer settings right (simplyfy3d) the free slicers can have problems with thin wall printing the most of the print in 1 wall thickness 0.4 nozzle. Every part but the electric gear and piano wire is printed - including the springs and pins in the landing gear.
