Ade, take a deep breath and provide the link to exactly what you are intending to buy.....Codename-John provided the link to the UK warehouse product and you posted the International Warehouse link. Which is it you want?smile

Pete

See my post above Ade!

BEB

Exactly...such a shame, i mean if they offered me the jet at that price £52.99 (which is what it costs with postage) and said free postage i would be slightly tempted.

01/09/2013 21:10:20

It's in stock now in the UK WAREHOUSE!!!! £19.99..but they want £34 P+P from china????

mmmmmmmmmmmm its depressing............

come on english hobby shops .......buy 1000 units and bang them out cheaply, still making a huge profit. they will sell, they are great jets, cant believe the cheap price TBH...no good if it costs twice as much to ship over here...grrr rant over cheeky

cool great thanks...

Not so outa-shape now thank goodness

01/09/2013 16:27:23

It is what it is skippy smiley good honest communication.

Here are some shots of my dilema now......looking for a replacement fuse...but until then its out with the scalpel and fix it as best i can...........

This is the damage i'm going to try to fix.........

I Cut off the complete nose section leaving this section 'as-is' pretty much

I put the nose into boiling water and it looks ok ish after its bath so i have inserted some cocktail sticks to add strenght and a layer of contact 'UHU POR' ready for joining.....

I will add more pics when its back together........if its good enough to fly...if its still bent will that affect flight much?

Thanks to the chaps for helping me on my way.....it makes the world go around cool

31/08/2013 22:22:24

Cheers Chaps for the EPO repair info, great ideas i will use to try to get it back together.....i will need a new fuse at some point and my search so far has not returned any dividends....the two suppliers i have managed to find are both out of stock, ive messaged both with no replies....time will tell.

So its back into the hot water bucket tomorrow lol.....and get the cocktail sticks ready....i use 'UHU POR' seems ok, my problem is that there are so many (now) little splits, cracks, compressions that the whole front is now hanging off....everything foward of the Air Intakes. so i have a rather large puzzle to take appart and re-assemble with sticks and glue lol.......smile p never say die!!!

Regards Ade.

'Alpha Alpha' i was privileged enough once to be allowed onto the first ever concorde, inside was mostly solid state computers, there was just enough room for 4 seats (i think it was four, could have been six) it was so small inside compared to say a standard airline jet. nice photo's wingman.

Elvington 2013.....so thats what a 'meet' looks like.....one day, one day!

good idea, you will need to remove the ply battery holder plate to get the battery right back as far as possible, it kinda goes in at an upward angle if you know what i mean. the C of G is perfect. not that i know too much about it but it flies so true and dialed-in.

I use 2.200maH 25C Turnigy Batteries, the one i used came out the plane after 4 mins of various throttle 'Cold' i'm using a E-Flyte 35A ESC and a 4,500 outrunner brushless Motor
