Thread: CAA registration consulation
Who is going to police this? Can’t see the boys in blue taking an interest. They won’t even rock up here if your burgled, had your vehicle nicked/damaged etc.
Thread: failed e-flite SAFE receiver
Tim is spot on. I had two flyaways using said receiver. Both landed safely. Retrieving was difficult as both occurred well into fields of fully grown crops, one wheat, the other rape. Never used the Rx since.
Thread: Electric Cars.
Just bought, yesterday, a Range Rover sport, V8 absolutely stunning. Electric nah.
Thread: Prostate Cancer
I am, as of last Friday, at this stage. Now awaiting a bone scan to ensure the C hasn’t spread. It goes into bones apparently. I’m told that if that is clear, then I get the hormone plus radiation treatment (every day for 4 to 7 weeks)
i haven’t been offered the keyhole surgery option. Do you think I should query that? The consultant mentioned that 1 in 8 men will suffer this, so yea get checked. Early is good.
Thread: Smart tv
If the above methods still defeat you it is always possible to copy your images onto a usb memory stick then insert the stick into a USB port on the tv, select that port from the inputs menu, and bobs your uncle.
Thread: Another scam? Sinister this time
I feel I’m really missing out here now. Why have I never had one of these calls. Do I need to change supplier?
Thread: Dave Burton (BEB)
Truly sad news. RIP & condolences to all his family and friends.
Thread: Christmas 2018 Gifts
Xbox for me. So probably never need to go out the house again!
Thread: Gatwick drone incident
Surely these devices return to the pilots position. Follow it, and bobs your uncle. Either by sight or using police UAV.
Am I being too simplistic here?
Thread: my dremel drill
Electrolube. Ah the memories from the 60/70’s when elecrinices was mostly valve bases and mechanical relays.
I feel even older now, thanks for that!
Thread: New Sopwith Pup from DBSportandScale
Small, 60” !!!
Thread: my dremel drill
You’ve been suckered. Bought a look alike 4 yrs ago, used weekly no problems. ( half the price )
Your only hope copious amounts of WD 40.
Thread: Best Spyware
Thread: Aldi Bench Drill
Bought the drill last time around, no problems at all. Only thing to note perhaps is that the top covet has to be lifted and the belt manually moved to change the speed.
Thread: Great Service - But!
Also there’s nowhere to drive to in Norway, so electric cars ok for nipping down the shop!
When I used to do our weekly shop, it was not unusual to need three or four plastic bags to carry the goods in. It was a bonus if I could pick up extra bags lying in the bagging area.
Why, because we reused the empty bags to line our kitchen bin. So result of the bag ban is I now have to buy a roll of plastic bags.
So basically it’s just cost us money. Ah well such is life!
