You don’t get to taste this type! Enjoy.

Hi Andy,

I've been on hormone treatment for months. I found they completely destroy your mojo. Make you tired, and give you hot flushes. As of today I have 5 radiotherapy sessions to complete (finish next Wednesday) I was only prescribed 20 doses, many guys there are having many more. This therapy is painless, problem being you have to attend daily (not weekends) I had to arrive 1 hour before treatment, a self administered enema is employed, that’s obviously great fun!

30 mins before appointment hopefully you will have cleared your bowel and bladder, now you cannot use the loo again, but have to drink 2 cups of water. Object here is to get your bladder and bowel into similar position every time.

The radiology is a breeze lay on a table, X-ray machine does an imaging scan, then after a final table adjustment a clockwise and a counterclockwise rotation irradiating the cancer. All in all the scan time is less than 10 mins.

jump off the table, repeat next day.

There can be side effects of course, they will be explained to you day one. Different for each patient. Mine not too bad. What happens next for me I’ve not been told yet.

Chin up treatment is very successful. Best wishes, sure you’ll be fine.

I'm still using my VHS recorder and I've also got a Music Centre capable of Quadrophonic Sound. When it comes.

Tom, I had a nosey round the Black Sabbath exhibition in the Birmingham Art Gallery last week, and they have a room playing Sabbath tracks in Quadrophonic. Standing in the centre it was stunning. Might be worth the wait!

Think your right Bob. Our street lamps have been replaced in the last year or so, both by the city and district councils. Neither incorporated charging points.

80% of houses (60) have two or more cars, so I see a problem if they all become “electrified” Shamefully five at my house. Think we’ll need a power station at the top of the road. Have every faith our leaders will sort it!

Going to Brum on a Sunday in August for a day at the cricket. Need to be in the ground at the round by, say, 10:30am. It’s an about a 50 min. Train journey, first train to leave home is 10:23!!!

Also if we go to an evening gig in Birmingham last train home is 10:20. Music stops around 11pm. Public transport, it’s a joke.

Got to get the Jag out again.

Ok, I have noticed any expanding/ contraction issues, if they were there I probably unknowingly trimmed them out.

searching for nuts now, as stated none included, and no mention of them instruction wise.

Thanks for the info.

The mjetion of a locking device for use with carbon control rods prompts me to ask how to these ( the silver items) work? I’ve tried to fit them in various guises, but nothing I’ve tried is correct, or doesn’t appear to be!

Who is going to police this? Can’t see the boys in blue taking an interest. They won’t even rock up here if your burgled, had your vehicle nicked/damaged etc.

Tim is spot on. I had two flyaways using said receiver. Both landed safely. Retrieving was difficult as both occurred well into fields of fully grown crops, one wheat, the other rape. Never used the Rx since.

Just a year since I was diagnosed with stage 2/3 Prostate Cancer. I had had regular "finger" examinations, up to about 3 years ago as I had for some time had a need to get up during the night for a pee. Findings were only of a slightly enlarged Prostate, no need to worry. Need to get up during the night increased to 2 sometimes 3 times, mentioned this to doctor, PSA test followed immediately which showed significantly raised PSA levels. Immediate referral to Urology department at Churchill Hospital Oxford. MRI and Multipoint biopsy followed quickly, then offered either surgery or radiotherapy plus hormone treatment. I chose surgery, 4.5 hour keyhole surgery, home next day a few weeks recuperation and almost back to normal. 8 Weeks from referral to Surgery, can't praise the Churchill team enough, they were brilliant.

A year on and all is clear.

If you're over 50 PSA tests are available on demand, so if in doubt get tested, it's only a simple blood test and might avoid the consequences of Prostate Cancer.

Ian

I am, as of last Friday, at this stage. Now awaiting a bone scan to ensure the C hasn’t spread. It goes into bones apparently. I’m told that if that is clear, then I get the hormone plus radiation treatment (every day for 4 to 7 weeks)

i haven’t been offered the keyhole surgery option. Do you think I should query that? The consultant mentioned that 1 in 8 men will suffer this, so yea get checked. Early is good.

If the above methods still defeat you it is always possible to copy your images onto a usb memory stick then insert the stick into a USB port on the tv, select that port from the inputs menu, and bobs your uncle.

I feel I’m really missing out here now. Why have I never had one of these calls. Do I need to change supplier?
