Thread: Strange Win 10 PC problem
I recently had a problem with W10 on my pc (auto updated from W7) so I downloaded this: **LINK**
I ran it, chose the usb option then booted off the usb stick and installed a clean W10. It recognises if W10 has been installed before but you lose all progs and files, unless you've got the files backed up!
Last week I used the same usb again on my grandsons W10 laptop which he'd messed up.
I have put the usb away for future use.................
No guarantees, but it worked for me.

Thread: S8R Rx
Anyone using an S8R with a Taranis Plus?
I've been using several X8Rs over the last three years and shortly will need more RXs.
The new S8R is only ~£1 more than the X8R so it seems silly not to go for the stabiser option.
I read in another thread that the S6R is a bit complicated to set up with a Plus Tx.
Any experiences/tips people?

Small world indeed Colin; I had a 1/5 share for several years from 2002 and flew out of a strip at Streethays Farm, by the A38. Shep

My second pair arrived this morning too. Well pleased with originals and now have a reserve pair
I bought a pair when they were reduced to £33; they do help with Reynaud's............and they're now on ebay for £20 + £2 postage:-

I've used AVG Free for many years together with Malwarebytes and Ccleaner (again free versions) and I've never had a problem with nasties.
Thread: TurboCAD v20 at Maplins
Correct, I installed it on W7 before W10 install....................we need a test pilot
I use TurboCAD 18 and it works fine in Windows 10, so I imagine later versions will also.

I experienced that with XTs, then I read about a very good solution:-
Carefully drill very small holes in each side of the XT and use outside circlip pliers to separate, works a treat.

Same as but have just registered my mobile number too; thanks for the heads up
Thread: OpenTx - what is the fuss really about?
Hands up who hasn't done that! I've used SF as a standard throttle switch for some time and made that mistake once, luckily no damaged digits etc., After that I treble check the throttle is closed first but this sticky throttle is excellent.
Thanks Matty and BEB for sharing your expertise
