Do you find that the field flies OK...?

We did do some beta testing on Wednesday night...

I just did some circuits with a Fun Cub and it was fine Jim.

PS Reminded me of when I used to fly bungee launched gliders there back in the early eighties smiley

In Phoenix 5.5 the extracted site is place in: C:\Program Files (x86)\PhoenixRC\resources\environments
Then it will be in the Flying site list in the prog.

Thread: 'Automatic' Windows 10 Upgrade ?
11/03/2016 14:59:23
Posted by Dave Bran on 11/03/2016 14:47:05:

I am running two pc's side by side, one on 7, the other on 10. While 10 seems quite OK, there is absolutely nothing emerged so far as to why I should be at all keen to allow the 7 to 10 "upgrade" to take place.

So was I, I let my laptop upgrade from 8.1 to 10 a few months ago and it's been fine.

My desktop upgraded from 7 to 10, without my intentional input, two days ago. It's also fine and faster than it was.

Time will tell; I have a few weeks to decide in or out! I've already decided on the other in or out no

Thanks Andy; I'm not ready for the men in white coats yet then laugh I must admit I just deleted the regular blue upgrade notes that kept popping up on my screen as I got fed up reading them.

Definitely an upgrade as I was on Windows 7 until last night. W10 does appear faster though.

Last night I went to check my email etc., and my Desktop PC was in the middle of a Windows 10 installation. I was sure I hadn't instigated it and I watched as it slowly completed the upgrade.

The PC is running fine with W10, so far, but I'm still bemused as to how it happened.

This morning a friend of mine phoned me in a panic as his laptop was doing the same! So it wasn't me then, I thought.
Anyone else had this happen or am I losing the plot frown Shep

Reversed ailerons can affect full-size too. That's what killed Roy Chadwick, designer of the Lancaster.

I wonder how many similar accidents have happened.

Also happened on a Hawk at Valley a few years ago after maintenance.

PPeter there is a standard "Dangers of Thunderflashes" demo they do (or did anyway) to terrify recruits - battle bowler body minus the spider and headband, pull the igniter and pop the tin hat over it - KABOOM - tin hat goes about 60ft in the air - powerful things them.....

They used to throw the damn things at us when we were on the assault course during RN training; still got tinnitus to this day!

I had to do the same when my driver's side window refused to close at the NATS when it was precipitating down.

I used CPC label remover and it worked without causing any damage to the paintwork.

There is a proposal before CAA that regularly used model flying sites should appear on Aviation maps - I think that will happen before too long.

I would be surprised if they appeared on Aeronautical charts, they're chocablock already.

ATC advisory and Pooleys, yes. Shep

We used to travel up to north Wales to see my Grandmother in my Dads old A35. The rear brake slave cylinders used to leak and coat the brake shoes in fluid. He used to spend the time up there fixing the car to cope with the journey home. He used to boil the brake shoes on the cooker to clean the brake fluid off and then re fit them for the return journey.

Green A35 Countryman was my second car in 1965, Standard 10 was the first which I wrote off on a bend I thought I could negotiate, at too fast a speed as it turned out crying

One that won't be looked at is Cawdor Barracks ( the former RAF Brawdy base). Ideal access onto the runway from the adjacent road which does not need access to the base. But it's too far west.......... and in Wales.......

we can but dream...secret

I'd love to go there again! I was stationed there, working on Fairey Gannets in the mid sixties, when it was RNAS Brawdy.yes
