Thanks for the reply Dave. Is the model pre designed and pre cut for a canister or do you have to made cuts and adjustments?

This maybe far too early to have put a vote forward but I would love the Peter Miller Grumpy tiger. It looks like a nice easy twin engine to build but with the 2 engines may very well interest the more experienced flyers.

I'm looking to buy a pilot Rc extra 330sc 25% version for the dle 35

Can anyone please tell me if the model has space for a canister exhaust?

Many thanks

Yeah, I've visited there website. But like you say. It's 3 years out of date. I've also been looking at a club in Darlington, but according to there website they are not accepting any new members. 😓

Also, is there any shelter should the Hevens open? Can you drive your car to the pits, or you you carry all your gear?

Hi all. I'm looking for members of Newton Aycliffe flying club. My family and I shall be moving to county Durham in the new year near bishop Auckland and it would seem newton aycliffe will be my closest flying site. I'm just looking for info on the facilities of the club. What is the patch like, is it a smooth field, tarmac runway? And noise or size limits?

Many thanks

Just to confirm guys. The rear spar it broken in 2 places. I don't know about the 2 front ones yet till I remove some of the front sheeting. I'll keep you posted. Some time next week I dare say.

Thanks guys. It was such a shame as I really enjoyed flying the Ballerina. Next time I get a min I'll take another look at the wing, strip some more of the covering off and sheeting and see what's what. I'll keep you guys posted on what I despise. But if the wing is worth repairing then that's what I think I'll do. Will be a lot cheaper rather than buying a load more balsa and starting again. 👍🏻👍🏻👍

Hey guys. Hope your all well, Ive got a bit of an issue and am looking for some advice.

A couple of weeks ago, Gravity finally won the age old battle. The Ballerina went in. Turns out one of those cheap Hobbyking batteries were to blame. A loose battery pin in the plug caused me to loose all control. I've finally got round to looking at the damage. The fuse is fine, just a bit of Epoxy will sort that. But the wing is another matter. My question is, should I repair the wing if it's at all possible or just build another. Only issue I have now is that now our new baby is here (3 months now) time is very hard to find as you can imagine. The wing has separated slightly at the leading edge and several ribs a are broke along with a spar or too. I'll add a couple of pics and await some much needed advice.
