I use Testors White or Clear decal paper or if the job is for single colour lettering 1/4" or larger I use my Cricut machine to cut it out of their "permanent vinyl" |

Thread: The Forecast |

We have had minus zero temps and snow for the last three weeks. Now this week we are in the mid teens, the snow has disappeared and it's going up to 18°C today. The problem is our Canadian province, Manitoba, went to Code Red or high Covid alert on Monday and that has closed our flying field. |
Thread: Peter Millers Werewolf |

In the magazine article Peter says he flew it with a .32, but figured a .40 would be better. |

I typed "3mm circlip" into the Farnell search box and then scrolled down the result page to where it lists 4 different pliers for that circlip. |
Thread: How are you buying your modeling stuff in 2020 |
21/06/2020 16:26:51 |
We have 2 model shops in town, one allows 6 customers at a time and the other takes phone or internet orders and has curbside service. I have been using both shops to pick up my supplies. |

I have been making my own latches. A piece of bent wire and a spring rescued from a dried up ball point pen works. I soldered on the washer, but a locking collar will work. There was an article in RCM&E

Been flying thirty years plus, all ic. Would love to try a war bird, but have been put off by lots of things. IE, scale finishing, reretracts, washout, elliptical wings, canopies, correct colours, so called heavy wing loading leading to fast landings. Perhaps it's not possible, but a low wing loading, easy build model that looks like a warbird, built to fly with enjoyment when flying as a sports model. Cheers. ps I/c if poss.
Well I believe that sometime there may be a MIles Magister coming. Mine but via a different scource. There are quite a few Between the wars Warbirds that might fit your list. I plan to build your Werewolf Peter, it looks like a warbird fly boy 3. |
