All great work Tony, lovely to see it coming along and so fast too....
Great work thus far SR71. Been watching, silently. Loved the fullsize since I was a sprog. Fascinated in how you are going to make the model and how it performs when finished.

Yep had a fantastic day there on Sunday. Watched great flying and met loads of old(er) mates and made some new ones. Mooched around the Retailers and had some good purchases and chats/laughs with them too - great to put faces to names and/or disembodied voices on phones. Another great big THANK YOU to the BMFA and all others involved in the arrangements.

So sorry to read of Bill's passing. Although I never knew Bill, I did benefit from him and his work because, like many others, I had a number of Merco engines in the past. RIP Bill, enjoy that big Flying Field and Thank You.

Very well done, all those involved.....
Very sad news, my deepest condolences to the Family and Friends.
Never met you, but as a fellow aeromodeller I classed you as a "mate".
Enjoy that big Flying Field in the sky....
Thread: Balsa bashing
There is no Yak 3 at Kiev Museum. I believe the aircraft shown by Bucksboy is a much modified Yak 50 made to look roughly similar to a Yak 3
Thread: Adhesives,Which are your favourite Brands?
Balsa cement: Uhu Hart
PVA: Vitalbond Westbury Express - dries hard and enables it to be sanded if necessary unlike some PVA that dry "rubbery"
Epoxy: Z Poxy or Devcon depending on availability in LHS
Superglue: Usually Zap or anything available in the LHS
The balsa cement and PVA I obtain from Pegasus Models (Norwich) by Mail Order.
Thread: How to connect battery
