what you guys are saying all makes sense but i used 4 different batteries and all same results

30/01/2019 15:34:06

i am going to put a watt meter on both to see what the diff is - this might be good start before reprogramming !!

30/01/2019 14:54:28

i changed a 30a esc simonk to a 30a HK esc due to a broken wire and i have to say the extra power from the HK was extremely noticeable so much so that the 1000mah battery drained in no time

both esc were 30amp constant with 40amp burst

motor turnigy 2826 2200kv

prop 7 x 5

what different esc settings would cause this ?

Thread: Where's all the stock?
25/01/2019 22:07:59

here is the thing - if you buy a foamie or ARTF from hobbyking UK its made in china but your keeping a UK worker in employment so if you buy a foamie or ARTF from UK supplier its also made in china - whats the differance

some will argue that your keeping your LMS going but your also keeping HK in the UK too and we all know how good HK is for the bits and bobs that you cant get

just my thoughts

dont get me wrong i regularly buy kits etc from online  LMS

Thread: HK where have the balsa kits gone
19/01/2019 15:10:53

IIRC they used to do volksplane artf, spacewalker artf, j3 cub artf and a couple of aerobatic jobs, im not really looking for anything (hangars full) its just an observation

19/01/2019 13:15:32

yes chaps i know there are plenty of kits/artf to be had but my point was really about HK lack of choice compared to 1-2 years ago

19/01/2019 08:39:54

is it me or has anyone else noticed the balsa planes on hobbyking are few and far between at the moment

Thread: club drone ban
08/01/2019 09:45:25

Shun the quad and kill the hobby

i would say shun the quad in order to save the model plane - and for the record i own a quad and a heli

07/01/2019 22:57:27

we all know what i meant

07/01/2019 22:38:11

just wondering if it would be a good idea to ban drones from our club to avoid unwanted interest from the authorities in light of the recent announcements
