Hello,I have flown the Comper for the first time.Can someone tell me how I can show a short video?
The first flight was not so fine.The side thrust is too low. The Comper needs 3degree.The engine with its 7X4 airscrew is ok for soft flying, but I will install a stronger one with 9X6 airscrew.I will informe you about the next flights.
Servos: 4X DES 488BB MG
Engine: Magic-Torque 25-14
Current on ground: 15A wizh full power
The final work, adjustc ontrol movements.

Thank"s for all your nice comments.In my experience, flying models like the Comper fly well with an longitudal dihedral of plus 1,5-2degrees.So I put the modell in a position, that was reached 1,5 degrees on the wing. See picture.The elevator should now have 0 degrees. But it was not like that. That"s why I attached a wedge.Maybe I had not built so carefully before.The Comper is allmost done.RC and engine are installed.I chosed the VH.-ACG as the color scheme.This plane has a gibsy engineand not a radial-engine.The colors are spannfix-immune from Graupner.THis stinks all over the house, but Vera, my wife hascalmed drown again.When everything is ready, I show more pictures.
first of all, you are right in all respects.I had a problem with some words in the translation in your text.
There are many special words in our hobby, and often there is no reasonable translation in my language.
In this case it was the word "airfoil ". The translater describes a part you need by work in garden???????
But now, I know, what you mean.And you are right.I actually built the tailplane flat. In the sideview of the plan the tailplane has an airfoil section.But the ribs are not drawn. And so I just made the tailplane flat.I also describe the Comper in our magazine FMT.There, I alsodit not mention the flat design.I can now correct that in time.

Hello and thanks" for your mail.Your question is not awkward at all.I like comments although I was a bit surprised.
Plese compare plan and tailplane section in the two pictures above.There is only a small change in my method of construction.According to the plan the elevator(not elevator area) is one part.But then you can not install the rudder.
So I have devided the elevator in two parts.That"s all.I have described this in the pictures in Prev 4.
Either I did not understand the plan or your question
