Thread: Acrowot engine
Yes I do amazing place to fly its like it was made for it. There is however a shortage of soft landing areas 😂
Well for now anyway noise fortunately is not an issue as cyprus clubs don't seem to be bothered by such things lol.
Well I have an sc70fs lying around so may just go with this for now. I must admit the issues associated with some small petrols did worry me a bit.
No, I'm an engine man through and through. Not that there's anything wrong with electric.
Really! So are the petrols not as powerful as the equivalent glow engines then? I wanted to go petrol as I am currently in Cyprus and glow fuel is like gold dust out here.😔
So, I am wanting to get an acrowot as my next model and have been shopping around looking at appropriate engines for this plane. So far all threads have pointed to either a 50-60 2 stroke or 70-80 4 stroke however I was looking g on just engines the other day and stumbled upon the NGH GT9 9cc 2 stroke petrol engine and was wondering what you guys thought about this engine for the acrowot? Let the opinions flow 🤔
Thread: Flying at wattisham?
Does anyone know if there is, or if there ever has been a flying club at wattisham airfield near Ipswich I've heard rumours of one but not too sure?
Thread: Engines - general questions.
Good call Rob cheers will get on the blower and get them to check.
That's food for thought maybe but this engine is brand new that's what struck me as unusual and the bracket is too long rather than too short. Click only photo on the left and you'll see what I mean.

Hi all random question but has anyone had any bad experience with sc engines out of the box, the reason I ask is that I just got my hands on a sc36 two stroke and the rear needle valve bracket does not fit the bolts on rear of the engine which I thort was bizarre but could mean it's the wrong needle valve All together! Any thorts?
