Thread: Problems with Spektrum receiver ar6600t
21/01/2020 13:44:26

I’ve done it !!!!

I held the bind button on the receiver before plugging the esc into throttle port.

I don’t know what made me do this but it worked.

I turned the tx on holding the bind button and orange led went solid.

Turned off and back on and it’s all sorted.

Thankyou everyone for your kindness to a complete novice today.

I will have to get a binding plug from the local shop.

Not sure how to join the pins.

Surely I should still get it to light up with the esc in the throttle port and connected to the Lipo ??

Thats what is bothering me

Hi Dennis, the set didn’t come with a bind plug. It has a bind button on the face of the receiver.

I am told by the retailer that the receiver should be already bound to the set but I don’t think a constant blinking led means that.

I can’t get any life from it at all now.

Initially I plugged in with the black wire to the outside but I have tried both ways. Could I have damaged the receiver by doing this ?

Hi all, first time connecting the battery, receiver and esc I had the constant blinking of the orange led.

I tried binding with the binding button on the receiver but it didn’t work(no binding plug with this receiver).

On my next attempt the receiver is lifeless. I have tried 3 different lipos and 2 different esc and just can’t get anything ???

what am I doing wrong ??

Esc plugged into throttle port on receiver, battery connected to Esc

Any help will be greatly appreciated

I don’t have a radio and will probably go for the spectrum 6 channel. That will be fine for my requirements.

Thanks for the reply Trevor. I did go to the old site near the turf place a few years back but family commitments got in the way! Would like to come down and see the new site and meet the members if possible, thanks.
