Is this true?

"The British newspapers do not come to Sweden anymore.
Many British magazines have stopped publishing in paper form and have gone digital.
Can't say if RCM&E will only be available digitally in the future butit does not appear to be in paper form in the near future."

I really like Peter Fardells model The Chub (RCM&E Dec 2014) so now I am considering to enlarge the plan to do the model for a small brushless motor and RC.
Do the flight characteristics change if I enlarges all dimensions "straight off" for example 170%?
Can I use the same rib profile?

Thanks Rich, now I understand why my Atom is so 'unruly' in the air.
Instead of making a new plate (hard to get 0.8 mm glass fiber in Sweden) I am considering to drill small holes
(1-2 mm dia) according to attached picture, to get my 1 mm plate more flexible.
Could it be a good option?

I discovered that my fiber glass head plate is 1 mm thick (even though I ordered 0.8 mm).
Is that why my Atom is so difficult to fly? Head plate is too stiff?
If so, can I modify it in any way?

We are two experienced model aviators who built respectively Atom autogyro. One with AJ-blade and the other with home-made blade.
We have closely followed the setting of angles, rudder travel and center of gravity according to the construction manual. We also checked the radio range control.

At the start, we have always been sure that the rotor come up at the right speed, "whistling" sound.
So far everything is OK but once in the air the models is out of control (same for both models).

If I compare with a fixwing plane it is, as if the center of gravity is too far back and too much rudder travel!?
You have to constantly try to compensate for the wild behavior Atom does in the air.
After many attempts, which always made in low or no wind, remains the problem.
What can it depend on?

To check, I weighed my Black Diamond again and the model without LiPo weighs 680 grams and with one of my batteries (Gravity 3's 1.55 Ah = 138 gr or Turnigy 3s 1.50 Ah = 128 gr), is the model's overall weight approximately 814 grams.

I opted for safety to put the center of gravity about 10 mm forward the drawing's CG.
How sensitive is Black Diamond's flight characteristics for this?
I think that the model has some low glide ratio. Could it depend on the above?
I tried a landing with a little less speed, and then it looked like this:
