Thread: Is it Murphy's law
06/04/2017 13:01:00

I guess we all have similar problems, I got this from another modelling forum

But my rememberer is broke
To you that may seem funny
But, to me, that is no joke.

For when I'm 'here' I'm wondering
If I really should be 'there'
And, when I try to think it through,
I haven't got a prayer!

Often times I walk into a room,
Say "what am I here for?"
I wrack my brain, but all in vain
A zero, is my score.

At times I put something away
Where it is safe, but, Gee!
The person it is safest from
Is, generally, me!

When shopping I may see someone,
Say "Hi" and have a chat,
Then, when the person walks away
I ask myself, "who was that?"

Yes, my forgetter's getting better
While my rememberer is broke,
And it's driving me plumb crazy
And that isn't any joke.

Thread: wireless printer

Sorry I can not help as I know little about computers but have never found PC World to be very helpful,l they only seem to deal with hardware. I suggest you find an other computer dealer/service place and try them first.. Tell us where you are and people may be able to direct you to someone local who can help.

The 'joke' amongst us ground crew was that the Vipers produced just enough power to carry them and the fuel they needed. Flying from south coast to St Mawgan at night the Vipers were ruin part of the way to burn off excess fuel for landing as they couldn't dump over land.

Thread: Experiments with Micro EDF units

If it is no good as an EDF you could always give it to a little girl to use as a hair drier for her dolls angel 2

Thread: redundant 35mhz ?
22/03/2017 10:12:07

The only real problem with 35 MHz gear comes when you still have some models not yet converted And decide to give them an outing then forget to extend the TX ariel.

I have done this twice, the first time I got away with it but the second time crying

When I read the first post by Cliff I thought 'I am sure this was done by Tim Hooper some time ago' so Tim's post proves that my memory isn't as bad as I thought smiley

Thread: Aircraft that are difficult to rc scale
01/03/2017 15:56:08

How about the ML Gadfly (Also known as the 'durex delta'.

Or try the Blackburn B20 (sea plane with retractable single float)

I'm sure there are many others but the use of multi axis gyros makes many more previously unsuitable aircraft now possible.

Some of the re-issued old plans from recent months would meet the original purpose and could be built by more experienced modellers to show what is achievable. Of course some may decide to scale them up !
