Thread: Galaxy Models, in administration
I happened to be in Ipswich last year and called in to the shop for the first time. I bought a plane and all the electrics to go with it. The person I dealt with was the most helpful and knowledgeable I have ever met on the subject of Electric models and accessories. What a shame it will be if Galaxy doesn't survive.
Thread: R/C Switch
Very many thanks folks. I'll see what I can do. Incidentally Steve, the signal wire going to the gyro cannot simply be switched off. If it is then the flying surface being controlled is also rendered inoperable. What I want is to have a flying surface cotrolled either by a gyro OR by the receiver channel direct.
I'm trying to find a single pole change-over switch which will operate from a Futaba receiver channel. What I'm trying to do is switch the signal wire going to a gyro to by-pass the gyro in order to render it inoperable when required. Does anyone know of the existence of such a switch? I'm thinking of something like the Turnigy on/off switch but with change-over capability.
All yhe best Mike

Welcome back David,
All is now working for me too.
Many thanks Mike

When I try to view the new videos via RCM&E TV I get the message

Thread: Eneloop Batteries
I've been using Eneloop batteries for a couple of months now and they are very good. However I got mine from here www.component-shop.co.uk at prices 30% lower i.e 4cell £9.00 and 8cell £17.50.

Now you really are making me feel old! The Mini Super was my first totally successful R/C power model. I built it in about 1968 from the kit. It was a first class trainer ( we learned to fly as we went along in those days ) It lasted for several years by being repaired over and over again but it taught me to fly power. Up to this model I had only flown R/C gliders both slope and thermal. Ah memories!
