I have an Astrohog that flies very well with a Saito 65 FS.I am getting an Ultimate Big Stick with an 80" wing span and the recommended size engine is 1.20-1.60?The Hogs wingspan is 70",i would have thought that a 90 would be more than enough for the Stick.Or am I missing some factor like drag increasing with the cube of the span. Can some one please enlighten me.

Epoxy is great stuff and superstrong.I used it all the time, carefully, but still became sensitised to it ie I developed a skin rash on my hands. Now I use a lot of PVA,very cheap and non toxic, but you need to make good joints especially on Old Timers.I recommend latex gloves for epoxy.

Instead of having that grotty oil soaked rag in the tool box,I have switched to paper towels on a roll with window cleaner.Toss them away when finished.

It is sad to see kids missing out these days on aeromodelling hobbies.I remember as a kid we flew control liners in the local park. The sounds of our awesome OS10s used to attract kids from miles around to watch our magnificent exploits in the air.If there was a good prang, the wreck had fuel poured over it and was burnt with great ceremony. We built our own.The glue we could buy from the newsagent was Tarzan's Grip which we would chew off our finger tips for the rest of the week.No one thought of getting "high" on it ,we were high enough.
