Thread: Its down to a OS 46LA or SC46A-S or Irvine for my WOT4 - Which one??
22/06/2010 07:50:30
Irvine 53 is the only engine for a wot 4 for me.
Thread: Frisky Chatterbox 2000
21/06/2010 12:42:15
Your description of the flight characteristics sound very similar to my Super 60 when it was nose heavy. So you may want tor try removing a bit of the nose weight and see if it improves with the new wing incidence. A flying buddy of mine has a Chatter box double the size of yours that seems to fly well I will ask him where his CofG is next time I see him.

Welcome Carlos and enjoy the friendly forum.
Thread: Hitec HS81 Servos on 6 volts
21/06/2010 09:02:33
This page suggests that 6V is an absolute maximum. It even suggests that a fully charged 4 cell Nmhi might be over voltage!!!

Yes remove one of the +ves. This will avoid any possible interaction between the power supplies in the two ESCs.

Thread: Prop sizes for 2 completely different engines.
07/06/2010 19:11:00
No offense taken John thats why I put the . I totally understand what you are saying.
07/06/2010 09:12:39
OK John no problem just trying to help
Thread: Expo, how and when to use it.
06/06/2010 21:40:29
I would say be careful with expo on the elevator. I find that when I have expo on the elevator as I come into land and apply a bit of up elevator to flair I tend to bump into the ground rather than land.
Thread: What's in a transmitter.

Stick with the DX6i it a great Tx. I also have a Futaba 9Z which would have cost £600 or more when new and when I am flying I can't tell the difference.
Thread: pulse xt 40 throttle connection
06/06/2010 08:51:26
For 4 stroke throttles I have used a method of routing the push rod past the throttle horn on the carb then back on its self in a U shape. This only works with a stiff wire push rod but often solves a difficult problem.
Thread: 55 ax in a Cougar 2000
05/06/2010 20:51:53
OK sounds as good a reason as any. Go for it.

I am sure it does. But a Good 36 will take it vertical until it goes out of sight why do you need more. If its speed you like then the Cougar 2000 is the wrong model.
05/06/2010 20:34:16
Much more engine than it needs. A good light 36 is perfect for it. But I am sure it will fly with the 55 but you will need some lead on tail to balance it.
Thread: LiPo Designations.
05/06/2010 09:50:47
It's a simple 3 cell lipo 11.1v. Thats 3cells in series.
Thread: The Cafe

That is truly horrible in such a way as its almost beautiful. Must be the worst handling bike ever.
Thread: The "GumCam"
04/06/2010 08:01:56
I like the tail mount position it make the video far more involving. I normally find these videos quite boring and never watch to the end but you one has a lot more interest when you can see a good chunk of the model.
Thread: FS ONE problem
02/06/2010 08:59:36
My Reality Craft Sim does exactly the same on XP. I just live with it. Once the sim is et up it is not much of a problem.
