Chaps, how do I simulate the large fuselage panel stitching you word associate with say, the side of an se5a. I have a refurb to do on a Bristol m1c (seagull arft 1/5 scale) but there are a couple of areas that show these big stichers, but I just don't know how to reproduce them....Any help? |

Thread: Paint bleed issues |
08/07/2019 20:05:14 |
Chaps, need some help with the above. Despite my best efforts in masking the canopy frame of my lysander, after painting, I still find the paint has managed to bleed under the tape. I have tried a little thinners, some white spirit, even isopropyl alcohol and even resorted to trying to scrape the dried paint off with a modelling knife....nothing has worked...any help greatly appreciated. Allan. |

That looks good Karl. I don't understand what you mean by cut-off half the flutes and did you need to fill the ends of the card? |

Thinking of building a ju52 over the winter, however, the big point is how to reproduce the corrugated skin. So chaps, what's the best way to simulate the corrugation? |
Thread: Mossie |

Motors are those recommended by T/N and 4max also the speed controllers too along with the props. Batteries are turnigy nanotec 4000 4s. It's a good set up with a reasonable amount of power. |

Just a quick question, I am about to hook up my esc's to the rx. Do I need to hook up each one separately or can I do them together? |
31/03/2016 09:05:42 |
Alan, have you flown yours, and what's the AUW? |
03/02/2016 14:48:28 |
Thanks for the quick reply, however can I expand this a little further and ask, are you useing one battery for both motors, or one for each? and are you using different speed controllers? |
03/02/2016 09:09:07 |
Are you still going to use the zippy 5800s? as I see 4max are selling 3700s? |

Thread: Don't just stand there, get one up! |

Danny don't be to concerned about the depth of the panel lines, they are going to "fill" a little more when your top coat goes on......however they can very easily be "brought back" when a little bit of "wash" or chalk dust...honest, its a walk in the park to highlight them. |
Thread: E-Max Motors |
14/02/2011 20:24:41 |
Chaps...wheres the best place you know of to get spare parts for Emax motors.
I have one of the large E-Max 160's which I have managed to snap the prop adaptor, and need a new one.
I am hoping one of you will know the best place to go to, as I don't have too much time to trawl every web site looking.
Can you help?
Cheers Guys. |
