Thread: How to do a spin?

Yep sounds like all good advice. Find out which way the plane wants to tip on the stall and go that way. I used some aileron and rudder to get the spin going then controlled the spin rate with the ailerons only. But that was probably my plane characteristics. Try one or two then move onto 3.

Thread: Whats your favourite part of our superb hobby?

It's got to be for me, a good laugh and enjoying the flight with friends then a perfect landing. That means the plane will fly again!!
Thread: Flying Goals for 2013

Looks like most of us want to more flying and finish all our projects. Will there be enough weeks in the year?????

Only time will tell.......

Great inspiration for others though

My flying this year....

  1. Make my loops round NOT Easter eggs
  2. Improve stall turns
  3. Think about what I am doing while flying,e.g. are my turns at constant height
  4. Fly more at other clubs and events

That should keep me going till October

Thread: What are your 2013 build plans?
19/01/2013 07:08:45

Complete the Precedent Stampe as soon as I get some wings back from Falcon Aviation.

Richard will do a good job so while I'm waiting I will go and fly and not get impatient.

Thread: Low oil content fuel
15/01/2013 14:41:09

Spoke to Model Technics and they don't sell direct.

So went to my local model shop and ordered a gallon of methanol and a gallon of Propower16 which when added all together will give 9% synthetic oil and 8% nitro.

I think this will be OK and within Evolution suggested limits. Will let you all know how I get on when I next run the radial and fly the Meteor.clock
