Hi all

I have i question, i am selling an item on the classifieds on this site and have had someone email me about it asking questions which i have answered.

Then i got an email from him saying he would like to pay by cheque and to send the info to him, address etc.

I had nothing then yesterday i got a letter with a cheque in for over a £1000 with no letter, nothing addressed to me. i took it to the bank as i knew there was something dodge about it and as i thought it was fake and the lady in the bank said i would most likely get a letter in the next week or so saying they had sent it by mistake and asking for the money back.

just would like to no if there has been anyone else on here that has happened to.

please be very carefull of things like this as its very easy to get roped in

thing is that the servos worked it was the motor side of it that had gone. luckly i had a spare 70a esc so fitted that.

has anyone else had this problem ?

Thread: after 5 blown esc's the supplier is still blaming me help needed

Hi Colin
Does your trex have a carbon fibre tail boom ?
i had a problem with a eco 8 with one that would make the tail twitch as the static electricity  built up in it.
if this is going to the esc then it could cause the esc to blow
