Thread: hobbyking - big changes
I could not agree more Percy. "Decent service" are the magic words for happy customers.
Thread: How can I thank you?
I just close my eyes and everythingjust flies perfectly - who needs a bench?!
Thread: Drone hits Heathrow plane
There used to be in the 70s a road at the back of Heathrow near the peritrack that was lined with trees. When it was windy they fruited with black plastic. It was known as bin-bag lane! Why am I not surprised that the drone turned into a plastic bag!
Thread: Good TV item
Superbit of unbiased coverage. All helps our cause. Well done the BBC.

Thread: hobbyking - big changes
Even TalTalk didbetter than this!Sorry supposed tobebiting my tongue!
Pete B and BEB. Points taken. I shall watch from afar with interest. Still entertaining though!!
BEB and Donald, spooky but I canassure u I sleep very well knowing I support my "local" LMS and other UK based suppliers, online and over the phone!I do appreciate that I am lucky to have Webbie's as my local LMS, albeit a 45 minute trip in either direction But, they are also very good at mail order.
Best thread ive read for a long time. Pure entertainment! Glad I used my feet tovote with and use other suppliers. Maybe slightly more cost but definitely more reliable! Keep the smiles coming HK - please?!
Purple Power lipos from 4Max and also Component Shop lipos and nimhs all been good for me. Wont miss HK much. My last order took 3 weeks to arrive!
Thank god for Steve Webbs and Airtek, T9 and George at 4Max, oo nearly forgot Just Engines. Nice people, responsive, helpful courteous. Sorry if I forgot anybody, oops Kings Lynn models. Who needs Hobbyking?!
Yes, can heartily recommend component shop. Purchase regularly and they never let me down. Also very competent techbnically if you have a question.
Thread: The Death Of The English Language As We Know It.
At the end of the day, in the final analysis I'mstill hip n cool bruv!
Thread: Another one going - Braincube
Not a fan of the Fugly but it'd be a shame if Briancube let its demise go with them and any copywright. Sad.
Thread: How to Minimize CRASHING!
I find some of this quite sad, apologies before I start. I joined a club back in '72 long before gyros , artf etc and learnt withan instructor, no buddybox. Yes it was hard, butvery rewarding and, surprisingly not too many crashes! Although that goes with the territory even flying bigg Pitts at displays and large jets ( recent Saab crash)..I'M not well off but enjoy both building and flying and Artf as well. I dont do Sims but can understand the need and use of them. I just dont understand the lack of need for the challenge any more . Everyone seems to want to buy it and do it tomorrow!
I think Tel summed it up "is it me ?". Before anyone replies I already have a grumpy old git teashirt and also an old guys "the older I get the better it was" sweatshirt!
Spot on Percy.
