Thread: The Crescent Bullet is back!
27/02/2010 08:57:56
My Bullet arrived from SMC and I thought they had forgotten to put the kit in the box it was so light but it,s because all you get for £110 is the wood, wings, plan and 4 pieces of wire no wonder RTF,s have taken over. The original kit had a cast engine mount (which I,ve still got) a tank, push rods, torsion bars and many odds and ends. It,s going to cost almost as much again to get this in the air!
Thread: Great Planes Reactor
21/02/2010 10:31:03
What about import duties and VAT?
21/02/2010 09:16:40
The Great Planes Reactor looks very nice and at $199 in the USA it would seem very good value, but at £280 here it looks like Ripmax have done it again and doubled the price!

Thread: Fun jet/Squall on 3700 3s ?
12/01/2010 16:34:15
I,ve got a 2250 4cell in my squall and thats fine,I would not think a few extra grammes would make much difference, anyway theres plenty of room to move the pack around!
Thread: Squall ESC Interference

I use futaba 2.4ghz and have never had a glitch with EDFs
Thread: squall
07/11/2009 15:05:01
Hi Dizz,I don,t know the difference but the fan and motor from foamy jets is incredible and draws 517 watts on a 4cell 2250 30c lipo. The vertical performance has to be seen to be believed!
06/11/2009 16:31:03
I,ve just flown my Foamy Jets Interceptor (Squall) 4cell and if you want to know what colour adrenaline is, get one,the only word is AWESOME in every respect!
16/10/2009 16:10:51
Hello Hello,What,s all this I hear about the later 4 cell fan unit being lower thrust than the original, not that anyone has them!
Thread: Futaba
04/06/2009 19:21:58
I wish I had gone the spectrum route now as the price of futaba seems to be getting much too high.
Thread: Fusion Smart Guard
18/12/2008 08:25:00
Have had a replacement from Fusion and it is much more acurate.
12/12/2008 09:27:00
The Fusion Smart Guard battery tester is fine for testing lipos but is utterly useless for any nickle based batteries. When I approached the suppliers they were looking into the problem and that was several months ago!
Thread: RichModels
01/09/2008 18:43:00
Hi Martin,I,ve tried two Richmodel kits and they have both flown like bricks do and the suppliers don,t have much idea.Never again!
Thread: Lingcat (Richmodel)
27/07/2008 08:35:00
Latest on Lingcat. It was not strong enough to survive yesterdays crash, the fus disintigrated when it decided it had had it,s last almost uncontrolled flight! Even with advice from the suppliers and  flying  mates it was a dead loss from the start. That  is the 2nd  RICHMODEL  that I have found to be  rubbish so never again.End of Saga!
25/07/2008 09:12:00
I,ve moved the c/g 30mm forward and it,s a lot better  but the thrust line is wrong even with a washer under the top screw so I will carry on flight trials. One thing in it,s favour it,s quite tough!
17/07/2008 12:18:00
Has anyone managed to find the correct C/G for the Lingcat or had trouble with the motor thrust line.
Thread: Model Fuel Price Hike
16/06/2008 16:47:00
