Thread: Help me find a shed!
06/04/2012 00:17:43

Hi Be, go for a shed with high leval windows, they are a lot safer as no one can look in, or remove the glass to gain entry. Also less heat loss during the winter.

19/03/2012 21:04:37

Hi Steve

It's for the OS 25 that's in the TN Miget Mustang. It's been sitting on the bench waiting

for some decent flying weather.

locks threads solid..........

Hi steve,
I have just checked the CoG as it stands with out any covering minius the spinner ( just the back plate ) and it looks like I will have a problem, and I still have the engine cowlings to fit. Hopefully there will be enough room to fit the battery behind the servo's up against the rear bulkhead behind the wing............

Funny you should say about the plugs with the idle bar I found a strip of 8 that I've had from 30 years ago when I stopped flying & was wondering if they were allright to use on a modern engine........

Thread: Running in os 40fs
14/07/2011 20:53:08
I have got an os 40 fs, would it be ok to run this engine on the same fuel that I use for a 2 stroke, the fuel that I have is Model Technics big bang 16, as the lable states. Also this is a new engine that needs running in so is it the same as breaking in a 2 stroke IE run rich & short runs before it gets to hot, not letting it rev to high for the first few runs ect ect..........

Some how I have got on their mail list (General hobby )& recive e-mails nearly every week. Looking through the sale list, I like the look of the Flycat 90 pusher jet here, has anybody got one, what are they like to fly. Looking at the video's they seam to twitch a bit when slowing down for a landing or is it just cross winds...

Thread: Twinstar motors

I was flying 11mins on a LM 3000 3s with mixed throttle use from floating around with steep climb outs & touch and go's, the motors were cool & no heat from the lipo or esc's which are mounted in the slots behind the motors where the wires from the stock cans would go. I will post some pictures on monday eve.........
