Thread: FrSky Taranis - user chat
I have just bought the X4R-SB not realising it was only 3 channel, not to worry as I will put it in my Big Ship as it only needs 3 channels. Another plane converted to the Taranis...............
Thread: Comedy video about the two Lancaster's currently flying in the UK
Very good MK1
I also like the one about his e-bay account............
Thread: Be Careful What You Wish For or Never Respond to a Badly Photographed eBay Sale.
DD, not so bad when you look at it that way........
I have 2 simple rules for e-bay, 1 if its a poor quality photo IE bad light, out of focus or taken from 20 yards, & 2, if there is bad spelling or text spelling I give them a miss.........
Thread: FrSky GPS V2 Sensor
last time I used the GPS sensor I left it for about 3 mins to give it time to lock on to the satellites, a friend told me they need to lock on to 3 to get a position.
Thread: Latest OpenTx
How do you make the Taranis display your name?? I would like to personalise my TX.......
I'm on version 2940, as it was when C9X was put on the PC
Thread: Free Glue Grab Weekend

Enya make a petrol glow plug, that might be worth a try all though its not cheep....
Reading this thread with interest, the way I look at the % are, on the sticks page I set maybe 80% then on the mixer page I then have say 100% of the 80% available, that's my system, not sure if it's the right way to look at it though.

Thread: TN Miles Aerovan - anyone built one?
I've had the plans for the Miles Aerovan for a couple of years, and will try and start building later this year when I have cleared the back log on the work bench, may be a winter build. Not looked at any motor, lipo, prop combinations yet. Have you decided on any power trains ?? Now a Military color scheme would look good.
Thread: Strange flap movement
I have sent you a PM
Well done, Thank you for your time and effort
So is it a fault with the transmitter ? or a bug that needs sorting out ?. I would have thought that if you have switches with multi positions & the ability to slow up and down movements you should be able to do it from one switch. Thanks for the work you are doing BEB.
Yes that's correct with my fun cub, its the second stage that behaves badly
Thats good news BEB, I used a long delay to lessen the effect of extra lift caused by the flaps
I followed one of Scott page's videos on the other '' forum'' and got an even more exaggerated effect on the elv using a slider to control the down mix to compensate the lift made by the flaperons so I deleted that one and put the elv mix on a switch
One of the short video's of the flaperons
