Thread: Strange flap movement

I have a couple of planes set up with either flaps or flaperons on a 3 position switch and I keep getting a strange movement or a bounce at the bottom of the flap movement. Is it me when I make the mix on CX9 or do I have a problem with my Taranis. I have uploaded a couple of videos to the Bucket and if I have done the correct linking you will see the bounce at the end of the stroke

Reading the last few post above about channel numbers, can you have different selections for different models or is it a case of once selected its the same for every RX

Thread: Road Rage. Very bad experience - Why are people like that ?
04/04/2014 18:10:19

FFS I wouldn't worry to much about that guy in the Porsche, I have been driving a London bus for 35 years, and if I was to take any notice of road rage drivers I wouldn't have any arm's, legs or head left intact !!!!!!!!!!

Yes John thats the same results I got ( roughly ) & I was in Mottingham. I must admit that this subject is something that I know nothing about........

Hi John

51°26'00.6"N 0°02'19.3"E is the location where I was, and this is the log report

I popped round to my local park with the Fun Cub today although I did not fly as they were cutting the grass, so I scooted the cub around the car park as it was empty. Looking at the logs the longitude & latitude do not relate to where I was, dose the GPS V2 have to calibrated before its used.........

Thread: FrSky GPS V2 Sensor
18/03/2014 16:08:54

Just had a look at the GPS V2 and there is no label saying this way up, its ether fallen off, or did not have one. Looking at the Frsky site they only show one view of the GPS V2 & there is no sticker or words saying mount this way ect.

18/03/2014 12:36:13

I'm using my Fun Cub as a test bed for the Taranis and had a couple of flights last week, I have now added 2 position flaps and the GPS V2 sensor and enabled the telemetry to give speed and altitude voice read out's. Dose the sensor have to be fixed in a set position or can it be mounted any way round......

Thread: Taranis expo
10/03/2014 13:47:26

Playing around with my Taranis & I was wondering is the expo set the same way as I used to with my old Futaba ie - number to make the center stick less sensitive or is it + number ?

Hi WF

I found those the other day when I was looking through the OpenRCFourms but I don't have a clue how to load them on to the Taranis or how to make the TX use them...........

Have fun WF..............

As a new user/owner of the Frsky Taranis radio I can see this radio getting very popular because of the value and what seams to be a very powerful or versatile menu of functions that can be fed into it, although its a bit of jump for me at the moment, I do think we should have our own section under the heading of Radio Gear as do Futaba, Spektrum ect What do the other user's of Frsky gear think??
