thanks for finding the instructions Martin,E Mail or cop[y would be great.chatting to Richard at db there have been various updates to this model over the years, the one you have may predate the one he sent me,and it would be nice to check it out.my kit hss plug in wings, but the plan is by no means clear.I usually follow the 4 Max recomendations on the DB website for electric setups, but I buy the equipment from Hobbyking,im told the motors are the same and cosiderably cheaper. He gives battery sise and prop sise as well.Again thanks for digging out the information,Ihave sent you a message with my E Mail and home address
Result. Igave richard a ring and he kindly sent me a copy of the instructions in an E mail, the kit I had was manufactured around 2001 and bought at a swapmeet last week. Agreat buy at £80.Thanks for the advice guys,Richard was most helpfull and did not charge for this,it seems there are many variations of Cub instructions .As i was on the phone I ordered a plan pack for a bistormer 60,I will build this for electrick power. It will take a week or so to come as you guys poited out he is moving premises this weekend.AGAIN THANKS FOR THE ADVICE.
Help wanted, does anyone have a copy of the building instructions for this 84 inch kit.I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A KIT AND THEY ARE MISSING. THIS IS A PRE LAZER CUT KIT. I would of course pay all costs involved, or send them to me and I will copy and return.hopefuly someone can help.
Thread: Wire tricycle undercart.
i have recently bought a deuces wild airframe whitch has been kitted out for electric flight, however the last owner also meant to fit retracts,so removed the wire undercart and binned it
this plane has never flown, so im wondering if anyone has done this and saved the undercart and would be preparted to part with this tricicle set
i would be happy to pay within reason,it would be a shame if this airframe never took to the air.
i would also be prepared to part with it for a fair offer
Thread: Not so sticky stickers
I HAVE A FOAM MODEL XMAS PRESENT.This is a World Models plane The problem is the plastic stickers, you know the type cut them from a sheet and press them down. How on earth do you prevent the tips from lifting?. It took all day to cut and stick them ,and two hours to get the plane ready to go after that .

This is a little more climb than is normal, full down has to be held in with full throttle, the model is so docile and can be flown around like this, aileron response is great and needs no rudder in the turns, the 2 flights were in a mild breeze. God help me if its blowing a little. Going to have to do something to try and sort it out when it,s next flown
thanks for your input.

I went with the front spar for the balance point, however it,s only had 2 flights and it needs full down elevator to stop it climbing ,this is a flat climb, not nose up. I did queery the down thrust on the forum , the general view was leave it as per plan
Ican try some downthrust on the motor, or maybe lift the trailing rdge by an eighth.
Anyone cured this problem.
The scallops were done by first cutting the piece of film as normal, placing on the wing exactly where you want it,marking a ref point ,then put a mark on the film at yhe centre of each rib ,using a tea plate for a template cut out the scsllops with a new blade ,just dont get caught borrowing the tea plate. Then iron on as normal.
theres no stopping me ,now what can i put on next

this is my effort electric of course,it has yet to be test flown.

Thread: broken down bandsaw
managed to pull the tyre on with the help of a third party, and 2 wooden spoons it was still a strugle though The nachine is working again and I can get on with my 72 inch span twin for FPV NOW, electric powered of course.
REGARDS AND THANKS.

replacing the blade is no problem, however the tyre is only about 60%of the wheel and the space around it very small for big fingers.I will try turning the saw on it,s side and soaking the tyre in hot water next week, Yes the tyre is the right size for the wheel. Ibuild all my models from plans and get a decent result (so people tell me) iv,e been doing it for 40 years now . i just did not fancy taking the wheel off and getting it back on straight, so the blade would might cause problems
let you know how i get on
Jim thanks for your reply but it is the bottom wheel and its a little bit more complicated as the drive belt is atatched to it thanks to you also Chadock good clip but again the wrong wheel
i have been told to turn it on it,s side stand and all ,then maybe i can get enough leverage to pull it on
will keep you advised as to how i get on
Help wanted, i have a Record 250 bandsaw, and it has a broken wheel tyre, idid not think they had tyres on . Anyway i have managed to obtain a new tyre, wonders of the internet. Its the bottom wheel ,the one with the drive belt atatched.the new tyre has to be soaked in hot water to help it stretch, it looks far to small for the wheel
The wheel will have to come off to replace the tyre , this is my problem, never having done this sort of thing before and dreading not being able yo put it back together Has any one done thisjob before, better still someone living close to haydock park willing to give up a bit of time ll expenses would be remburst.
hope someone can help.
regards to all Bernard.

Epoxy is the best i have found, cut a hole in the wood surface and glue them level with the surface.
Thread: SCREAMING ,Outruner
i had this motor installed in a Radio Queen,on opening the throttle all is well until i reach about three quarters open and the screaming starts,It is on a Turnigy Plush 80 amp esc and a wooden prp13/6 first thoughts were ihe prop slipping,so it was changed for an apc/e again . It was still the same so i changed the motor for the same but bigger ,a4260 this is running fine no problems, it has a 14/7.Have i got a duff motor, has anyone experienced a similar problem.
The Radio Queen will go like a pylon racer ,but i suppose thts why they put throttles on yhese new style trannys.
