Kit got released over 2 months ago. Build all done.

44% pitts challenger 2 flying today . One happy customer... way over powered on a 150cc.. its flew round at 1/4 to 1/3 power.... and for the first time i have ever known this model accellerated vertical.. flying speed at full power was 100mph!

40% Pitts Challenger 2 Specifications

Weight – From 14KG

Wing Span – 2.4 m

Length – 2.6m

Servos – 8 x 15kg Digital Servos

2 x Digital Servos for throttle and choak

Recommended Engine:- DA 100, DA120 , DLE120, ZDZ120, DA150


55% Pitts Challenger 2 Specifications

Weight – 30Kg

Wing Span – 3.0 m

Length – 3.1m

Servos – 16x 25kg Digital Servos

2 x Digital Servos for throttle and choak

Recommended Engine:- ZDZ 210, ZDZ250 , 3W 224 B4, DLE 222


And of course this one


65% Pitts Challenger 2 Specifications

Weight – 44 – 55kg ( 97 Lbs to 110 LBS)

Wing Span – 3.5 m

Length – 3.7m ( Detachable Rudder)

Servos – 17x 25kg Digital Servos

2 x Digital Servos for throttle and choak

Recommended Engine:- ZDZ 420, ZDZ500, ZDZ360, 3W 342, 3W684


All 3 Challengers will be at Cosford on our store.. The 55% and 65% will be flying.. The 40% will be a static

It weighs only 109lbs with fuel( which is approx 25 to 30lbs lighter than the blackone).And it is a massive wing and fuaelage.

The second flight was cut short for 2 reasons. The wind really picked up (25mph) which i deemed unsafe to fly and then the bloody spinner came loose.. hence the rattle.

As for wood defects . I cut all my models and i am extremely selective on woods.... are you telling me you strip ALL the covering off an artf to check ALL joints....? Can you garantee that all woods are perfect in an artf model?...or do you assume it is?
