Thread: Spektrum DX6 compatible receivers, and others
To add: That list doesn't mention the DX6, just the DX6i (twice). Ho hum.
Denis Watkins No, But someone does, and he's selling them. This FB site: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1374378112873364/
Can we come up with a table of which RXs will work with which TXs? My head is spinning trying to get it clear. And later, can we talk about why Spektrum saw fit to have two different and incompatible TXs, both called DX6? Preferably in the presence of the genius who came up with that idea?
Thread: Wrong numbers?
Seems no-one at RCM&E is interested. Or perhaps they're all out flying. Anyone know how to get in contact with them?
I've emailed Mr Ashby as well.
What and alert everyone else to the bargain I'm after?
I'm trying to call a classified advertiser in the October edition - number is apparently wrong. So I call the number printed in the impressum - and it seems this is wrong as well!
Thread: Birmingham to Southampton
Doesn't it fly?
Thread: No click 'seller's other items'
Shouldn't laugh really.

Thread: "Unbuilt kits for sale" section in classifieds?
I appreciate that, but what I'm thinking is that people may want kits to build, not ready-built. And others may have kits they've had hanging around for, well, decades, that they don't have the time to built themselves. A section that has boxes of bits in need of glue is what I'm suggesting
Would this be worth adding as a category?

Thread: Sig Astro Hog engine size
Thanks for the link, Trevor. Doubt if I'll get around to a hog before the autumn, but that will come in very useful. Did you have any trouble with the prop hitting the ground?
Ta. Sound just what I need, then.
Hi Andy, yes it is yours! I'm new around here and haven't got to know many of the inmates yet. D'you think a hog would be a suitable first low-wing model?
Hmm. Odd. That's an 80" and suggests a 20cc engine. It's also a sight more expensive than this one from Sussex models.Presumably in 58 years (!) a number of variants have appeared.
It's a mere glint in my eye at the moment. I'm still a rookie. Currently learning on a RTF 3chn lightweight, a heavier 4chn is about to come off the building board ( a Traplet 'Diversion' ), so when I've got the hang of that I want a low winger, and I very much like the look of the Hog, and from what I've read it should be a suitable third model.

I'm thinking of one of those as well, Andrew. Mine would be electric, though. There's a build thread here
Thread: Caption me!
Biting down hard to prevent the screams, he was able to pull the glider out of his lung, and went on to collect his spot-landing prize before seeking medical attention. What a guy!
