Thread: When Is A Sale Not A Sale
I used to do quite a bit of work for a local Bed salesman in his showroom, for 11 and a half months of the year he had a sale on, the 2 weeks of the year when the full prices were, he was on holiday and the store was closed

Ive had mine for about 2 years, abruptly re-kitted it a couple of times also and servos are still fine
A word of advice Morgan, the CoG location in the manual was wrong when I put mine together, it was way nose heavy, it should really balance with your finger tips in the middle of the finger holds underneath
I cut the top off along the diagonal lines you can see either side of the opening and dug some foam out from inside to get the battery (1300 3s) back to as shown in the pic and it balances ok
Mine has a plastic shroud / cover thing over the servo`s so I cant give you the servo horns, but the centre of one cover to the centre of the other is 302 mm, control surface horns are 300 mm centres. At their widest the covers are 16mm so you would need an internal diameter of trunking just a bit bigger
They are great fun models, mines been absolutely ploughed into the ground before and smashed to bits, a bit of hot water and gorilla glue and its back in the air. They are so easy to hand launch by yourself though, full throttle and a decent straight push, why build a launcher when each pilot can just throw their own ?

LOL When has the UK Government ever had the best interests of its Citizens ? They only care about themselves, Party Donations, Jobs after being in Government etc,
Nobody is suggesting the GDP of Britain is currently all from Scotland, if anything at the moment its largely based on financial fraud and debt from London, that's mostly all we export these days
Why would the Insurance sector need to be domiciled in England if Scotland were to leave, Scotland already has different Law`s, so Insurance for England and Wales just has to be contracted under English law as it is already, it matters not where the company is actually based ?
You also use ship building as an example of your hope, let me point to some actual facts, concerning train building contracts awarded by the UK Government in the last few years, LINK Where Bombardier lost out on contracts for the Thameslink programme to Siemens, or LINK the Contract awarded to Hitachi. We already don't give British contracts to British firms so what would be different about boats ?

Erfolg, with all due respect, if you go back and read my post properly,
I`m saying that it is reported, through various reputable sources, that Scotland could become one of the highest GDP per capita countries if they were to go independent,
The Bitcoin part of it is totally separate, and in the video is just a discussion between the two as the Guest and Host have other interests in Crypto, It doesn't need dwelling on, the Iceland thing was just an example of a country that was considering that approach ( If you actually look at how Iceland`s economy is doing, its looking quite good now
Its not that I don't value your personal opinion but when the Financial Times newspaper ( self described as - one of the world’s leading business news organisations, is recognised internationally for its authority, integrity and accuracy. Providing essential news, comment, data and analysis for the global business community, the FT has a combined paid print and digital circulation of almost 665,000 (Deloitte assured, Q1 2014). Mobile is an increasingly important channel for the FT, driving almost half of total traffic and 20 per cent of digital subscriptions. FT education products now serve 37 of the world’s top 50 business schools.) Says about Scotland that "If its geographic share of UK oil and gas output is taken into account, Scotland’s GDP per head is bigger than that of France. Even excluding the North Sea’s hydrocarbon bounty, per capita GDP is higher than that of Italy. Oil, whisky and a broad range of manufactured goods mean an independent Scotland would be one of the world’s top 35 exporters"
I`d imagine that is more than just someone`s opinion
So you Totally ignored the first 5 minutes and just focussed on the part where they discuss that instead of using the British Pound, Scotland has an opportunity to create something new ( they just happened to discuss Crypto Currency because the guest is an Author on Bitcoin )
Also worth baring in mind is that the Video is from Feb this year, and in it they Discuss that RBS had Threatened to leave Scotland should the vote be yes, When sky news LINK Is reporting this as a recent announcement from the result of a board meeting yesterday, like they are doing the Politicians a favour, by fear mongering with not long left until the vote

The City of London seems like its already separate from reality never mind the rest of the Country, where else in Britain could you pull off Massive Fraud and other Criminal activity every day and never even face questioning by your own private Police force
Back to Scotland though I found this interview about how Scotland could become one of the Highest GDP per capita countries in the world very interesting -
Even the Financial times Agree`s LINK , what is even more interesting is David Cameron`s quote from 2007 -
that argued there was no point in trying to keep Scotland inside the union 'through fear of the economic consequences' of leaving. 'Supporters of independence will always be able to cite examples of small, independent and thriving economies across Europe such as Finland, Switzerland and Norway,' Mr Cameron wrote. 'It would be wrong to suggest that Scotland could not be another such successful, independent country'.”

Which warehouse did you order from ?
Thread: RCM&E Subscription Rates in An Independent Scotland
According to Forbes - Alex Salmond has given his clearest indication yet that he would want an independent Scotland to keep the pound, even without a formal currency pact, after stating “we are keeping it, come what may”.
The no campaign is mostly a scare tactic from all parties, there is no difference between the 3 of them anyway, 99% of their policies are the same, nothing ever changes for the better and whoever gets elected we all get screwed over just the same
So there would be no difference in subscription rates, Scotland will be accepted in the EU without question, just look at Ukraine to see how desperate the EU expansion plan is, so there will be no import / export duty etc and Royal Mail will operate the same as usual, they`re not suddenly going to change their business model (especially now they have shareholders to answer to)

I presume you mean Auto Play ? I`m not sure about Vista but did you set defaults on which program you wanted to play each different type of CD / DVD you insert ?

The war of aggression in Iraq carried out by NATO in 2003 has no connection to the NATO summit today ? oh my days, Have you ever heard of ISIS ?
There are even Warships in Cardiff bay, what difference does it make if KC describes something a little bit mistakenly ?

These sorts of people you mean - **LINK** ?
Perhaps the easiest way of ensuring security would be for Us and America (NATO) to stop arming people all throughout the Middle East, NATO Destroying countries in the name of "Democracy" or "Humanitarian missions" or even as in the case of Libya "time limited, scope limited Kinetic action", Overthrowing the Government of Ukraine for the benefit of Chevron, Monsanto etc, NATO breaking treaties set up with Russia in the 1990`s.
NATO, Us, Saudi Arabia and America are probably the cause of most of the trouble in the world at the moment, From Iraq, Libya, Syria, Ukraine, Israel etc. If we kept out of other countries business we wouldn't need Millions spent on security, Perhaps instead of south wales having to spend that sort of money on a fence and some police, they might be able to afford to cut the grass more than 4 times a year in the rest of Wales so the kids could play football etc
If our politicians wern`t such warmongering, interfering, lying and Hypocritical creatures and started working on improving the world for its inhabitants rather than tearing it apart in their own interests, perhaps people might start to like them, and they wouldn't need such security measures in the first place

Thread: Brussels halts our vacuums
It says in the link that for home owners their house insurance should cover it but that would change as they would require motor insurance, I should imagine that would be same with public liability, my PL insurance doesn't cover me for driving a work van for instance, I have to get a separate motor policy -
copied and pasted
"We have home insurance in place for these kind of things and it works fine. Once we have seen the ruling we'll take whatever action necessary to head off anything that hurts people's personal finances."
Senior EU legal officials involved in the Slovenian case have argued that motor insurance should cover vehicles being used in all situations, not just those involved in accidents which happen on roads or in public places.
As a result, motor insurance would become compulsory for certain vehicles which do not currently require cover, including sit-on lawnmowers.
OK then I have one that is sort of on the same topic but I can't remember seeing it on any of the posts , and it may possibly affect probably all Grass covered clubs -- LINK
Gardeners with sit-on lawnmowers face buying motor insurance
European ruling next month could force gardeners with ride-on mowers to take out insurance against accidents on private land

Thread: Seagull Yak 54 (91 Deluxe Series)
I bought one at Cosford and I`m not far off through putting it together, I`m also using a DLE 20.
I couldn't get the nut on turnbuckle with washers so I soaked the area with some thin cyano to harden it up a bit and went with just the nut, My threaded rod for the Rudder was just threaded enough to nip up tight when using one of the big Ali washers, normal washer, spring washer then nut,
Didn't have any problem drilling the Firewall though, what was up with yours ?
