Thread: Building ? or Flying? during the Blooming Football!!

Depends what I am tempted to buy this weekend at Weston Park, what with being welsh and generally not interested in football in the slightest, I shall be avoiding it any way possible !

Thread: What's flying over your house

As America continues to push for Cold War 2.0, if you live anywhere near RAF Fairford you may see some B-2 bombers flying over your house

it comes out of my OS .91 like a fine mist, the amount depends on how much oil your fuel contains etc but it is noticeable, ive been running mine with pipe for ages without any problem, including in my p47 with about 10 inches of pipe on because the engine is inverted and the cowl is quite large, haven't changed it in months and haven't had any problems, I use MT Bekra fuel so all the oil is synthetic

If your engine is mounted right way up in the radio queen I doubt you`d need 3 inches to get it aimed outside the engine bay, probably never need changing if you use synthetic oil Fuel

Each to their own but imo its easier to replace a little piece of fuel tube every now and again than it is to clean congealed oil from inside a cowl / engine bay / firewall etc

Thank you Percy, thats good news I can now go back to the workshop and finish off the instalation.

One more question what is the nipple for underneath the engine?

Its a vent to expel excess cranckcase oil, put a little length of fuel tube on to stop it spitting oil all in your engine bay

Thread: Our Forum, is there a continuous thread layout?
07/06/2014 21:24:15

As a frequent visitor of the site on things like my mobile phone while at work etc, I think that having to download possibly a big page, with lots of photo`s, if I wanted to look at a thread would be a nightmare. I personally think 20 per page is fine and the ability to skip to the last page to see the most recent comments without having to re-download the whole thread every time a new comment is made is very good

Manual just says to bind both RX first, then put jumper on and channel 3 should become 9, 4 - 10 etc etc

Are you defo sure you have the S ones and not just TFR8 ?

Hello, has anybody managed to bind two Frsky TFR8S receivers and get working as 14 channels? I can get them both to bind but the channels still act the same on both receivers.

did you connect channel 1 + 2 with a jumper ?

I`m a political Atheist, and until direct democracy is the standard I will remain so

I also think that political parties should be abandoned, each elected representative from each area should stand alone in his or her decision, not be "whipped" into line to vote with whatever the so called leader of the party wants, and each and every decision taken by every MP in parliament should be available for public scrutiny at any time.

Manifesto`s should be legally binding unless there is public consultation to any changes,

Lobbying and party donations akin to Bribery should be made unlawful.

A Recall Bill such as the one Zac Goldsmith recently tried should be implemented.

Expenses should have to be signed off by a representative group from the MP`s constituency.

etc etc, maybe then I may have some faith in "democracy"

Bought a leisure battery this morning from Halfords.

Probably cost you nearly twice as much going to Halfords than an independent battery seller or even caravan store etc, I picked up a 110Ah leisure battery for less than the price of Halfords 70 Ah last year

Also, could I possibly hi-jack this thread, and encourage people to continue posting Spitfire options, even though Masher the OP now has his model. I have exactly the same requirements as Masher; an ARTF Spitfire that must be wood and IC. Around the 40 size would suit me well. Thanks!

Kyosho spitfire 50, flew great on a 56 4 stroke so 40/46 2 stroke world be fine too
